At the Salute to Home Foundation, we strive to end veteran homelessness, one individual at a time. We believe that no veteran  who served our country should be left without a place to call home. We are committed to being the first step on their journey toward a brighter future, more stable future.

Through our Veteran Stability and Housing Services, we provide a range of support tailored to the unique needs of veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Our services are designed to empower veterans and their families by offering housing assistance, case management, financial counseling, and access to community resources. 

Our Mission:

We are dedicated to supporting homeless veterans by offering immediate, short-term housing assistance  and comprehensive support services. Our goal is to provide a safe place for veterans to rest and access the resources  they need to transition into stable, long-term housing arrangements.

Who We Serve:

We serve veterans who have bravely defended our country and now find themselves  without shelter. We recognize the challenges veterans face and are committed to providing services that respect their dignity, honor their service, and support their journey to stability.

Our Approach:

We understand that veterans can experience homelessness any time, any day. Our Emergency Housing Assistance offers immediate, short-term shelter through hotel/motel vouchers and connections to local shelters. While in temporary housing, veterans receive Case Management, Access to Necessities, Employment Assistance, Healthcare and Mental Health Support. Our program serves as a bridge between homelessness and permanent housing,  ensuring veterans receive the personalized support they need to rebuild their lives.

Homelessness among veterans is a critical issue, and the journey to finding a permanent home can be complex and lengthy. By providing short-term housing and wrap-around support, we help bridge the gap between life on the streets and accessing essential services. Our work empowers veterans to regain stability, rebuild their lives, and reintegrate into their community with dignity and hope.
